With climate change becoming a global challenge, more needs to be done than using renewable energy from wind and solar. Greenhouse gases must also be reduced from industrial sources. Factories that supply these products to us, products that we rely on can’t be shut down. It’s not that simple. So, what can be done?

Simply put; capture carbon storage. This is done by capturing CO2 from industrial emissions and transporting it along pipelines into the North Sea. It is then stored safely and permanently underground. 43 countries are already doing this and NECCUS are setting up a project in St Fergus, north of Aberdeen to begin this programme.

NECCUS aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by implementing a Carbon Capture Storage programme. This will be done by capturing CO2 from industrial emissions and transporting it along pipelines into the North Sea, which are then safety stored underground.

We designed a fully integrated CMS site, outlining the key points NECCUS are looking to achieve with the carbon storage programme. We also incorporated these points into leaflet.
